Menai Bridge Tigers up to third in Premier after 4-0 win

NORTH WALES COAST WEST PREMIER DIVISION

Menai Bridge Tigers 4 (H Jones 44, Frazer 50, Evans 61, Davidson 73)
Amlwch Town 0
Tigers stretched their unbeaten run to eight matches in all competitions with a comfortable win over fellow islanders Amlwch at Treborth, Bangor University, tonight.
The home team opened the scoring just before half-time.
Kelvin Frazer turned on a sixpence in the area to lay it off to Tom Parry for a first time shot, which was parried straight to Harry Jones, who duly converted the rebound.
Tom Parry had a hand in the second goal, winning possession high up the pitch before playing in Frazer, the forward tucking the ball into the side-netting.
Menai Bridge made it three just after the hour mark, a Callum Davidson corner met by Ryan Evans with a firm header for his first goal in Tigers colours.
Davidson got in on the act in the 73rd minute. A cross field ball from Jamie Ryan Jones found Davidson who turned and slotted home with a right-footed finish past Luke Bansall despite the Amlwch goalkeeper getting a touch on the effort.
Tigers moved up to third in the Premier, although both Llanberis and Talysarn just below have 2 games in hand. A tough away match at Pwllheli awaits Menai Bridge on Saturday
