Catch-up: Ardal Northern – West: Good wins for Llangefni and Flint Mountain; East: Rhos Aelwyd snatch points
ARDAL NORTH WEST
Hawarden Rangers 1 Llangefni Town 3
James Saxon’s Llangefni side made it three wins in their last four league games and just one defeat in six across all competitions with an impressive performance at the Hollingsworth Group Stadium in Broughton last Saturday.
Hawarden struck first through Tom Gunson after 11 minutes, but close to half time Cefni were level when good work from Cai Powell-Roberts led to the ball reaching Joshua Stanley Williams, who turned and finished well from 10 yards.
Three minutes into the second half the Anglesey visitors won a penalty and Matty Jones converted from the spot.
Ellis Owen Jones was sent off for the home side, meaning Rangers had to survive virtually the whole of the second half with 10 men.
The points were sealed 10 minutes from time, when Town’s Jones scored his second of the day.

Goals from Ben Brierly (2), Charlie Hughes, Gary Roberts and the returning Sam Jones secured all three points for the Mountain, who finished the weekend in the dizzy heights of fourth-place in Ardal North West.
On his return from injury, Jones hit a rocket into the top corner from 20 yards in the 86th minute to complete the scoring at the Essity Stadium.
The hosts led 4-0 at half time thanks to Brierly’s double, followed by net-finders from Hughes and Roberts, who also provided two assists.
Taylor Williams missed a second half penalty for Rhostyllen.
ARDAL NORTH EAST
Llangollen Town 1 Rhos Aelwyd 2
A hard-fought, scrappy game of football on a heavy bobbly pitch saw Rhos take all three points as Daniel Roberts came off the bench to score an 86th minute winner.
The first half was predominantly a battle as both teams dealt with the surface.
In the 36th minute Aled Robertson scored from a well-worked corner by Scott Reeves and Tom Smith to make it 1-0 to the Aelwyd.
The second half saw the wind take a turn and batter the Rhos half with constant long balls being hit by Llangollen, but Harys Weeks stood strong in goal for the visitors with his defence dealing with each delivery.
Llan did score a goal from distance through Kristian Jones on 75 minutes to the joy of the their supporters, but late on sub Roberts was played through by Smith to slot coolly past the keeper and seal the game.
Llandrindod Wells 2 Llanrhaeadr-ym-Mochnant 2
All-square at The Broadway and a welcome away point for bottom side Llanrhaeadr.
It could have been even better for the winless visitors as they went 2-0 ahead inside the first 24 minutes, William France and William Roberts Morris with the goals.
However, Llandrindod were back on terms by half time, Jack Evans converting a penalty and Shaun Nicholls adding a second on 45 minutes.
The second half brought no further goals.
