North Wales Coast East – Amateurs hit 11, Bow and Clwyd six apiece in Division One, Saints edge tight one at Cerrig

NORTH WALES COAST EAST LEAGUE REPORTS – OCTOBER 29
DIVISION ONE

Penrhyn Bay 0 Bow 6
Six of the best were delivered by a Bow side who made it back-to-back wins.
The visitors were hungry for goals from the start and two minutes in a great through ball from Barry Roche found Louie Jones, who calmly rounded the keeper and slotted home.
Roche, back in good form, added a second goal on 24 minutes, Shane Thomas with the assist.
It was then time for dynamic new signing Tom Weir to take centre stage, bagging a double before the break to make it 4-0.
By the hour mark, Bow were well set for the win and the manager was happy to make some changes.
Kelvin Berks missed a penalty before Aaron Green added a fifth goal on 80 minutes.
Had they been more clinical, Bow could have reached double figures, but they did manage a sixth before the end from an unexpected source.
From a set-piece, skipper Stephen Middleman found himself one-on-one with the keeper and smashed the ball home for a rare goal.
Hats off to Penrhyn Bay, they never gave in and their keeper Bernardas Subkovas made some great stops to keep the score down.
CPD Henllan 0 Abergele 2
With second and third-placed teams NFA and Y Glannau not in league action, Abergele took advantage to move eight points clear at the top of the table.
The men in red and black started strongly and chances fell to Kieran Holland and Anthony Zoezee but the score remained 0-0.
Dom Holland had an effort cleared off the line but the scores were level at the break.
More of the same followed in the second half, a change in formation allowing James Lloyd to dictate the play from the middle of the park.
A long Greg Hilditch throw was headed in by Ben Williams on 57 minutes for his first goal for Abergele against his former club.
Gele looked good for their 1-0 lead and wrapped up the win in the 90th minute.
Tommy Lloyd instigated some good link up play with Liam Roberts in the box enabling Dom Holland to score his fifth league goal of the season.
Betws-y-Coed 0 CPD Caer Clwyd 6
A solid performance from Clwyd saw them deliver plenty of goals while keeping a clean sheet against a resilient Betws side who never gave up.
The visitors played some brilliant football when it mattered and really controlled the game while never switching off at the back.
Keiran Kendrick, Shaun Edwards and Elis Davies all scored two goals apiece.
Llysfaen 0 Llandudno Amateurs 11
Azz Rogers hit four goals for the Amateurs in what was just their fourth league game of the season.
Joe Jones, Sam Maddock and Chris Smyth added two apiece, while Gaz Sharp put away a penalty.
Sean Sheridan was sent off for a second yellow against his old club after just 23 minutes, while Tom Collier received his marching orders for Llysfaen on 33.
Youngster Ben Rawlinson suffered grade 2 concussion for the hosts, but is now home and recovering well. Llandudno Amateurs send him their best wishes.
Rhyl Dragons 1 Rhos United 1
Lewis Evans’ 82nd minute equaliser salvaged a point for Dragons after Rhos had led through a Lewis Sealey goal on 32.
PREMIER DIVISION

Cerrigydrudion 0 St Asaph City 1
Seven days after being held 0-0 at home by Cerrig, leaders Saints did better in the away return.
Tyler Joyce delivered the only goal after nine minutes.
Rhuddlan Town 4 Kinmel Bay 2
A first league win since the end of August saw Rhuddlan edge up to third in the table.
Dave Sharkey, Matty Rees, Ashley Dale and Mathew Beach shared the goals for the home team, Connor Morris and Tate Walker replying.
Blaenau Amateurs 2 Llandudno Junction 5
Four-goal star Jack Williams moved onto 12 for the season as Junction won comfortably at Cae Clyd.
Stephen O’Neill also scored for the Railwaymen, Cai Price and Huw Parry responding.
Prestatyn Sports 3 Llanfairfechan Town 3
Sports were left disappointed for the second game running after dropping two points in a home match they were expected to win.
After winning their first five league outings, The Meadows outfit crashed 6-2 at Mochdre Sports on October 22, and would have been anxious to bounce back with three points on Saturday.
Elliot Croston put the visitors ahead after just two minutes, but a pair of replies from Antonio Jacovelli and Ian Griffiths, on 17 and 20, edged Sports in front.
Griffiths missed a spot-kick on 35, but did complete his double on 48 minutes to make it 3-1.
The home side suffered a blow when Andrew Billington was red-carded on 59, but Town missed a big chance to pull one back when Croston failed to convert a penalty.
However, Llanfair kept battling and Dan Hughes bagged their second on 66 minutes before Jamie Haggas equalised after 78.
CPD Llansannan 2 Llandyrnog United 4
Second-place Llandyrnog celebrated another three points.
Llansannan twice led in the first half through Robin Jones and Gruffudd Roberts, Sean James pulling one back in between.
Conor Jones made it 2-2 after 40 minutes and David Lawson-Cooke put Jimmy McNally’s team in front for the first time on 53.
Jones was red-carded for the visitors on 54, but Tomos Cumming gave Dyrny breathing space with their fourth after 62 – and that was the end of the goals.
