In a tie switched to the Flyover Ground, Llandudno Junction, Tudno were 3-0 up at half time, thanks to a Louisha Doran double and single from Maddie Williams.

After the break the Seasiders went goal crazy, Gibbard and Indie Hassall making it 5-0 within the first few minutes.

Gibbard then took centre stage, adding four more goals courtesy of a couple of assists apiece from Sioned Phillips and Kelsey Davies.

In the 89th minute Gibbard converted a penalty for her sixth goal in a matter of 36 minutes, taking her up to 13 for the season.

A second half hat-trick from Georgia Spibey turned a 2-0 interval deficit for Airbus into a dramatic 3-2 victory.

It was a first win of the season for the Wingmakers and revived their hopes of progressing in the Adran Trophy.

Felinheli scored twice in two first half minutes via Ffion Williams and Jordanne Greenough to put them in command.

After the break it was a different story as former NFA left-back Spibey halved the deficit on 57 minutes.

Spibey levelled on 75 minutes, then Felinheli had team manager Ben Bolton sent off for a second yellow card.

And things got a whole lot worse for the visitors when Spibey converted from the penalty spot on 85 minutes.

NORTH WALES WOMEN’S FOOTBALL LEAGUE

Caernarfon Town 0 CPDM Bangor 1876 15

Awel Ellis scored four for 1876

Awel Ellis and Stevie Donougher scored four apiece as Bangor 1876 stormed to the top of the league on goal difference.

1876 racked up a record win at the expense of the bottom side at Eithin Duon, Llanrug.

The visitors led just 4-0 at half time, Lisa Thomas, Mia Roberts, Ella Jones and Donougher all on target.

After the break the floodgates opened.

Captain Danielle Barnfield netted twice, Menna Evans made it 7-0 and then Donougher grabbed a quick treble to make it 10 goals in three games. Ceri Lois was also on the mark.

It was left to substitute Ellis to step into the spotlight and hit four goals in the final quarter-hour.

Reflecting after the match, manager Aron Griffith said: “A local derby for us and what a result we had from it. I couldn’t be more proud of the team and the performance.

“Brilliant showing from the girls today. Everyone played their heart out and gave 100 percent in every tackle.

“The football we played in the second half particularly was something else and every chance we had we seemed to take it.

“Take nothing away from Caernarfon, for a newly-formed team they never stopped and gave everything right until the end.

“They had some decent chances, but it was a dominant display from us.”

Northop Hall 1 Llanfairfechan Town 2

Another fine win for league newcomers Llanfairfechan lifted them up to a brilliant fourth in the table.

After a goalless first half, Elin Jones put Llanfair ahead on the hour.

Brygida Gorecka equalised on 63 minutes, but Morgan Jackson provided the 74th minute decider.

Jess Roberts set up Jones for Town’s first and Player of the Match Sadie Richards assisted Jackson for the winner.
