Grassroots club striving to build a prosperous future signs new sponsorship deal

A North East Wales Football League club has signed a new sponsorship deal as they embark on an ambitious journey to strengthen grass roots football in their community.
FC United of Wrexham, based in Bronwens Green, Brymbo has teamed up with Wrexham-based travel company Time 2 Travel of Acton, for a three-year partnership.

Time 2 Travel Managing Director Christopher Jackson, whose business was recently awarded New Operator of The Year, sees the deal as an opportunity to enhance the club’s training facilities, provide kit sponsorship and help the club develop a sustainable business model for the future.
FC United of Wrexham sporting director Andrew Ruscoe welcomed the news and said partnerships such as this one with Time 2 Travel are vital to the life-blood of local football teams.
The club is also actively promoting Futsal, a five a side game, played with a smaller ball, 40-minute duration and on a hard surface.

Andrew said: “We are absolutely delighted to have Time 2 Travel as our new club sponsor. Christopher Jackson has been very supportive of our club, and we are grateful for this partnership, particularly at a time when costs for everyone are escalating.
“Christopher shares our vision for FC United of Wrexham to move up the divisions and strive to develop our club during this early stage in its’ evolution to provide football, futsal and other sports within the community. We have been impressed with Christopher’ commitment and interest in our club, particularly his support to our Under 12s Futsal team. ”

Christopher Jackson said: “As a local company it is important for us to support our community in many ways and our sponsorship of FC United of Wrexham reflects our own values to give something back. Our business is based on going the extra mile for our customers.
“We believe that working alongside Andrew Ruscoe and the team, we are able to help FC United of Wrexham bring their vision to life. I wish them every success in the future and look forward to seeing the club develop throughout this season.”
