(6-7; 15-11; 21-21; 28-25)
What a great battle from bottom side Dyffryn, who pushed leaders Dolgellau all the way before finally losing out in the last quarter.
Dyffryn edged the opener 7-6, but by half time Dolgellau were 15-11 in front.
However, Dyffryn took the third 10-6, making it all-square heading into the curtain-closer, which Dol had to work hard to win 7-4.

Division Two

Bethesda 20-21 Llangefni
(5-6; 8-13; 13-18; 20-21)
What a game at the top of Division Two!
Llangefni led all the way against previously undefeated Bethesda, but it was mightily close in the end.
Cefni were 6-5, 13-8 and then 18-13 ahead before Pesda rallied to take the last 7-3, but the islanders held on.

Porthmadog 31-39 WaliC’s
(8-8; 17-18; 26-27; 31-39)
Another corker which was only decided in the last quarter.
After an 8-8 opener, WaliC’s took the second 10-9 and the third ended 9-9.
This meant WaliC’s were only one-up going into the final session, but the Caernarfon side won it 12-5 to give them a wider winning margin than they looked like getting for three-quarters of the game.
