JD Cymru Premier phase 1

Airbus UK Broughton 1 Aberystwyth Town 2

Not the start Airbus were looking for on their return to the Cymru Premier.
Joseph Palmer’s own goal from a corner handed Aber a half time lead, and although George Peers equalised in the 71st minute, veteran marksman Alex Darlington delivered the Town decider.

Gresford Athletic 0 Mold Alexandra 1

Danny Warren’s first-half injury time strike – a 20-yard stunner – was enough to bank the points for visitors Mold Alex at Clappers Lane.

Holywell Town 1 Colwyn Bay 6

James Kirby was on target twice as the Bay racked up a big win at Halkyn Road.
Holywell had both Kai Wallis and Danny Sullivan sent off, making it four dismissals in their opening three league games.
Matty Hill, Alex Downes, Kristian Platt and Tom McCready added further goals for the Seagulls, Danny Andrews replying.

Llanidloes Town 2 Chirk AAA 0

George Clarke and Elliot Jones, with a perfectly-struck free kick, secured maximum points for the Daffs.
Everyone wishes Chirk player Jordan MacCarter a speedy recovery from what appeared a serious injury suffered in the first half.

Lock Stock Ardal North West

Denbigh Town 2 Flint Mountain 0

Paul Fleming and new signing Owen Cordiner produced the second-half goals which sealed the honours for hosts Denbigh.

Llangefni Town 1 Llandudno Albion 4

Albion made an early-season statement with a ruthless win at Llangefni.
Ben Jarvis handed the visitors a 21st minute lead before Adam Hold struck twice either side of half time.
Club top-scorer Dave Maddock added a fourth before Cameron Jones replied late for the islanders.

Lewis Bickerton-Cole’s 84th minute decider ensured Llay made it three straight league wins to start the campaign.

FAW Reserve League North East

Brickfield Rangers Reserves 4 Gresford Athletic Reserves 1

Matthew Curtis, Dylan Jones, Oscar Egerton and Rafael Nogueira shared the goals which brought Brickfield a convincing success, Zak Dobie replying.

FAW Reserve League North West

Llandudno Under-23’s 3 Rhydymwyn Development 0

Harley Crossfield (2) and Kyle Kelly split the goals in this emphatic home result.

North East Wales Football League Premier Division

Coedpoeth United 2 Lex XI 6

Finley Dyer and veteran Alan Huxley both struck twice in this massive win on the road for Lex.

Ricky Evans (pen) and Josh Betteley added the other away goals, Michael Taylor (pen) and Mykel Woollett with Coedy’s consolations.

Premier Division

Menai Bridge Tigers 2 Talysarn Celts 0

Two wins in three league starts for the Tigers.

Kelvin Frazer broke the deadlock in first half stoppage time with a fine strike from 30 yards.

Owain Roberts doubled the lead, poking the ball home from close range after a scramble in the area from a corner.

Talysarn had some good chances, hitting the crossbar with a free kick, and Tigers goalkeeper Lee Moore blocking a one-on-one.

Division One

Bethesda Rovers 3 CPD Gaerwen 1

Iestyn Marlow (2) and Kieron Bullock shared the goals as Rovers continued their fine start to the season.
Aled Steele had put Gaerwen in front on 17 minutes and it remained 1-0 until Bullock levelled just before half time.

Holyhead Town 2 Bontnewydd 5

Luke Jones put the Harbourmen ahead, but goals from Meilir Rowlands and Sion Jones turned things around in Bontnewydd’s favour by half time.

Rowlands made it 3-1 before an injury to goalkeeper Aidan Batsford further hampered the hosts.

Substitutes Luke Phillips and Rhys Roberts pushed Bont further in front, Matty Rowlands notching a consolation for Town in the late stages.
