The 2022-23 Genero Adran North League will comprise just seven clubs this season following the withdrawal of Pwllheli.

It is believed the Llyn Peninsula club are struggling for players to fulfill a complete campaign.

CPDM Bangor 1876 WFC were, it is understood, offered the vacant slot but decided they were not ready for promotion this season.

Llangefni Town have accepted the available place in the Adran Trophy being the only club to apply.

Meanwhile, champions Llandudno will host coastal neighbouts CPD Y Rhyl 1879 in an opening day thriller next month.

Tudno were crowned inaugural champions of the tier 2 league last season, while Rhyl lifted the North Wales Women’s League title without losing a single game.

Another change in the league this season is one of name – Bethel are now known as CPDM Y Felinheli.

The countdown to the 2022/23 Genero Adran North season has officially begun with the fixtures released.

Clubs kick off the new campaign on Sunday 4th September, with the defending champions Llandudno hosting newly-promoted CPD Y Rhyl 1879 at the OPS Wind Arena.

Wrexham finished four points off top spot last season and will look to challenge for the title again this time around, starting with a trip to Llanfair United, who finished sixth last season, on the opening day.

CPDM Y Felinheli welcome Connah’s Quay Nomads, while Airbus UK Broughton’s first game of the new season will see them host last season’s table-toppers Llandudno on Sunday 11th September.
