Openers Sam Lewis and Gerallt Lyall carried Denbigh almost all the way to a 14th straight league win.
Chasing 71 for victory, Lewis and Lyall put on 58 before a mini-collapse led to the visitors eventually getting over the line for five down.
Put into bat, Marchwiel and Wrexham plummeted to 48-9 before a spirited 21 from tail-ender Phil Oddie (21) saw them to 70 all out.
Stuart Griffiths produced a great return of 4-11 off seven overs for the away side, Ifan Jones adding 2-19.
Lewis posted 35 and Lyall 23 before Scott Lawrenson made belated inroads into the Denbigh top-order.
Three wickets were lost on 65 before the travellers reached 71-5 in 17 overs.
Lawrenson took 4-28 for the hosts, but the points went 13-2 to Denbigh who are 18 clear at the summit.
Chris Geary hit an unbeaten hundred for a Hawarden Park side which won with some comfort at Pentre Mawr Park.
Opting for first knock, the visitors dipped to 37-3 before Campbell Marr (42) and Geary added 106 for the fourth wicket.
Geary finished on 100 not out as the Flintshire side set a formidable 215-4 off 45 overs, Owen Lynam 2-49 for the hosts.
Tom Norris then took second-best career figures of 5-8 as Gele were dismissed for just 79, James Martin 3-33 and Michael Wootton 2-15.
Mali Auty (72) and Rhys Stout (69) put on 158 for the first wicket to all but clinch Saturday’s game in Connah’s Quay’s favour.
Peter Jones top-scored with 59 not out as Bangor seconds set 179-7 off 45 overs after choosing to bat, Lee Davies taking 4-38 for the Deesiders.
With rain playing a minor role, Quay had 41 overs to reach a revised target of 169 and made 172-2 in just 26.2, Auty and Stout doing almost all the damage.
Andrew Watkin was Halkyn’s chief performer with bat and ball as the visitors won handily at Lane End.
Asked to bat first, the away side amassed 225-7 off 35 overs, opener Watkin hitting 66 and Jamie Griffiths 39, Buckley’s Rhys Jones scooping 3-36, Jack Williams 2-33 and Mike Wooton 2-36.
Watkin then picked up 2-27 as Bucks were restricted to 143-6, Rocco Franco 24, Jack Whitley 23 and William Norman 21.
