Captain Campbell Marr led the way with the bat as Hawarden Park set a winning total at home to Conwy on Saturday.
In a match reduced to 30 overs per side because of the rain which wiped out most of the division’s action, the Park chose to take first knock.
Opener Marr hit 36 in an opening stand of 53 with Phil Bradfield (26).
Romano Franco added 32 and Chris Geary 28 in a fourth-wicket partnership of 56 as the hosts finished on 152-6, Tom Plank 2-29 and Calum Jones 2-36 for the visitors.
In response, Conwy were dismissed for just 85, Tom Norris claiming 3-14, James Martin 2-20, Adam De Rycke 2-22, with Michael Wootton, Ian Martin and Fabio Franco grabbing a victim apiece in a well-balanced and consistent Hawarden attack, James Martin also pocketed three catches.
Points 13-2 to Hawarden who are up to fourth, while Conwy stay third despite the loss.
In a match reduced to 20 overs per side Connah’s Quay enjoyed a comfortable eight-wicket victory at The Ring.
Llay were put in and limited to 101-5, Jacob Roberts scoring 38, while veteran Darren Leach claimed an impressive 4-23 for the Deesiders.
In response, the Quay reached a winning 102-2 in 16.5, Joshua Clarke 46.
Sadly the weather put paid to this much-awaited clash between the top two teams.
