Is there something we should know? We think so, Llandudno have signed Doran Doran

Louisha Doran is the latest to sign for Adran North champions Llandudno

Llandudno Football Club have completed the signing of their latest pair of sisters.

Over the years, the Seasiders have welcomed the likes of Samantha and Rebecca Jarvis-Evans, as well as fellow twins Sarah and Claire Colville of course. Now, the newest siblings to join are Louisha and Erin Doran.

Sixteen-year-old midfield ace Erin came on board at Maesdu Park last week and now elder sister Louisha has rejoined the Adran North champions.

Utility player Louisha, 25, is a former Wales Under-17 international who mainly operates in defence or midfield, but can adapt to any position.

Her former clubs are Llandudno Junction Bullets, Colwyn Bay, Mochdre, Kinmel Bay, Tranmere Rovers, Everton, Llandudno, who she represented in the Welsh Premier League, Connah’s Quay Nomads and Chester.

Louisha’s opportunity at Everton as a teenager came about because of her progress with Kinmel Bay and Wales. Unfortunately, injuries held up her development at the Merseyside club.

In the 2017-18 season, she really made her mark with Llandudno. October 2017 saw her win the WPWL Player of the Month award after scoring eight goals in three league matches.

Louisha later had a spell at Connah’s Quay Nomads before joining Chester last season.

An experienced coach, she has been part of the Glan Conwy FC set up, North Wales Girls Regionals and Sports4All coaching in primary schools Conwy/Denbighshire.

And Louisha is also a champion kickboxer, having won world titles in several age groups. She runs a thriving fitness business in Rhos-on-Sea, LK Fit.

On her move back to Llandudno, she said: “Looking forward to being back at town, hopefully this season will follow last season’s success. This season is special to me sharing the pitch with my sister (Erin Doran) for the first time.

“Just want to enjoy my football and watch my sister grow into the women’s game.”

Libby Rubin

Louisha is Llandudno’s sixth recent new signing, following Mia Rawling, Erin Doran, Shona Roberts, Libby Rubin and Caitlin Bibby-Fry. One more might be in the pipeline, says manager Sarah Colville.

Libby is a goalkeeper who was part of the Penrhyn Bay Under-16 side which won several trophies and reached two Welsh Cup finals, while Caitlin returns hoping for better luck than last season when health issues affected her. Caitlin can play both in goal and as an outfield player.

Those to leave Llandudno this summer include goalkeeper Sara Williams, who has re-signed for Amlwch Town, Susie James and Bethan Smith.
