GOG Triathlon Club hosted the Llanrwst Sprint Triathlon on July 3.

It was a welcome return to this iconic race last seen in 2019.

The event sees athletes swim 400 meters in the Llanrwst Swimming Pool, onwards onto a 24km bike up the Conwy Valley, crossing the river at Tal Y Cafn, and returning to Llanrwst Bowling Green car-park via the B5106.

TriathleteS then run up into Gwydir Forest for a 5km out and back, challenging route on road and forest trails. The race attracts a mix of abilities ranging from experienced triathlon experts to complete novices.
