Penygroes Primos 34-27 Tim o Walis
(8-8; 18-11; 29-18; 34-27)

Primos are the early pace-setters in Division One as they made it three straight wins by beating Winter League champions Walis on Wednesday night.

After the first quarter was drawn 8-8, Primos had a big second session, winning it 10-3, and they took the third 11-7 to be 11 goals ahead entering the last.

Although Walis bossed the curtain-closer 9-5, the Penygroes side were comfortable winners overall.

Menai Mavericks 23-20 Pwllheli Panthers
(6-3; 10-10; 15-16; 23-20)

The Mavericks produced a big final quarter to take the points in this close encounter.

Menai led 6-3 at the end of the opener, but Pwllheli battled back to be level 10-10 come the midway point.

And the Llŷn side edged the third to be one ahead before the last.

However, the Mavericks were left dancing the night away after outscoring their opponents by eight goals to four in the last act to take the match.

Arfon Ladies 25-26 Dolgellau
(8-5; 14-11; 21-17; 25-26)

It was a good evening for last quarter fightbacks as Dolgellau produced a gem to edge a one-goal triumph over Arfon.

The Caernarfon side led throughout, 8-5, 14-11 and 21-17, but Dol turned the tables to win the fourth 9-4 and claim the points.

Llangefni 22-30 Bethesda
(6-5; 11-15; 16-24; 22-30)

Leaders Bethesda maintained their 100% record with a third straight win at the expense of Llangefni.

The Anglesey team edged the first 6-5, but from there it was mainly all Pesda as they took the second 10-5 and the third 9-5.

An even last segment ended 6-6, but this was Bethesda’s night.

WaliC’s 22-25 Porthmadog
(6-5; 11-11; 16-21; 22-25)

It was all about a big third quarter from Porthmadog, which they won 10-5 and took control of the match.

WaliC’s narrowly edged the opener and the teams were inseparable at 11-11 come the midway point.

Then Port won section three widely and even though WaliC’s took the closer 6-4, they were too far behind to affect the result.
