How did you become interested in football?
We found out that there was a girls team in Llangefni so I went along with it with my friends and grew to love it
How long have you been playing football?
Since I was around 8, so a good 10 years now

Centre half

Is there any football history in your family?
All the men in my family have been involved in football over the years including my taid, Richard O’Neill, my uncle, Shaun O’Neill, and my cousins Connor O’Neill and Ashley Davies. My Dad, Kev O’Neill, has also always been involved with men’s football and was manager of Pentraeth and Glantraeth, and is now manager of the Llangefni Under-13’s team.
What is your training schedule like?
I train once a week with Amlwch
If you are not playing football or not working/studying, what do you do in your spare time?
I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, especially when it means going out for food

How do you feel the 2021-22 season went for Amlwch Town Ladies?
I feel it went really well considering a fair few of us were new to the team, but the girls were all really welcoming and made sure we were comfortable from the beginning
How do you think the team might do next season?
I think if we continue to battle the way we did last season then we definitely have a chance at coming out on top
Tell us about the greatest game you’ve played in
Definitely our last game of the season against NFA where we only had 10 players (lost 5-2 but played brilliantly against the league runners-up)
What’s your finest achievement to date as a footballer?
Scoring my first goal of the season for Amlwch

I reckon Wales will make it past the group stages, but I’m not too sure after that

I hope to become a qualified nurse and possibly travel the world
