NORTH WALES COAST LEAGUE WEST PREMIER DIVISION

An eighth straight league win for 1876 edged them to within five points of leaders Bodedern with four games apiece left.

The goals began to flow at Treborth as early as the eighth minute when Corey Jones scored with a firm header in a congested area.

Home supporters had to to wait until the 34th minute for a second, Corrig McGonigle nodding home in powerful fashion.

Ben Owen fired in number three following some fine stops from visiting keeper Marc Wyn Jones.

Sion Edwards set up Les Davies for the fourth three minutes before the break.

McGonigle knocked in his second 10 minutes into the second half, then just past the hour he completed his hat-trick with a deceptive bouncing shot.

Harry Galeotti provided the seventh before top-scorer Davies completed the home tally with a header.

Mynydd grabbed a consolation through a great Tomos Williams effort in stoppage time.

Caersws 0 Dolgellau Athletic 2

A big boost for Chirk AAA’s title hopes as Caersws slipped to a shock home defeat against Dolgellau.

It was 0-0 until the 74th minute when David Edwards put Dolgellau ahead, then Gerwyn Williams added a decisive second for the visitors on 88.

Williams was sent off for a second yellow in the 90th minute.

Llanuwchllyn 4 Brickfield Rangers 1

Sam Evans, Gwydion Ifan, Iolo Jones and Nathan Davies (penalty) shared the goals for Llanuwchllyn in a convincing home triumph.

Chris Dixon pocketed an 82nd minute reply for Brickfield.

FAW RESERVE LEAGUE NORTH WEST

Llanrwst United Reserves 2 Holyhead Hotspur Reserves 1

Llanrwst rallied from falling behind to a 21st minute Joel Kleiser goal to take the points at Gwydir Park.

Ilan Davies levelled in the 79th minute and then added the winner on 83. United’s Ilan Roberts was sent off late on for a second yellow.

NORTH EAST WALES FOOTBALL LEAGUE

PREMIER DIVISION

Coedpoeth United 2 Castell Alun Colts 3

Luca Nardo’s 89th minute net-finder decided this one in Castell Alun’s favour.

Alister Randles handed the visitors a 22nd minute lead, but Luke Hall equalised on 34 before Arthur Doo made it 2-1 to Alun at the break.

David Hughes levelled things up on the hour, but Nardo delivered the late clincher.

RESERVE DIVISION

Cefn Mawr Rangers Reserves 1 Llay Welfare Colts 0

Hari Gould’s 61st minute goal secured all three points for Rangers.
