OTHER NEWS

In Saturday’s Championship action, Point of Ayr outscored Denbigh Wanderers 7-3.

Bob Brown (3), Dean Ruby (2) and Roger Dakin (2) shared the Colliers total, Derry Morris (2) and Ross Gilbert replying.

Penmaenmawr Phoenix Vets defeated FC Queen’s Park Vets 4-0 on Sunday.

Steve Roberts netted a hat-trick, with one added by Jacob Griffiths.

It was described as a good game played in a fine spirit among two sets of honest lads.

Mention to Richard Roberts for a bit of genius to play Steve Roberts in to break the deadlock. After it became 1-0, there only looked to be one team likely to take the three points.
