Formed in 1867, Wrexham based Chirk Cricket Club are looking to recruit new players.
Although anyone and everyone are welcome to join, Chirk CC is seeking players to join its successful club and move forward in the seasons ahead.
The club’s diversity officer, Andrew Edwards, said: “We are looking for players of all ages and abilities.
“We operate two teams in the Shropshire County Cricket League in Divisions One and Six and take part in the new Hundred competition.
“In the club, we have players ranging from teenagers to 67. The club left the North Wales League in 2018 with both teams gaining promotion in our first season playing over the border in 2019.
“Although, the club had another successful season on the field in 2021, it our undoubted belief that more personnel is required, especially in the Seconds.
“Furthermore, if you are not looking to play but to take part in other areas such as sponsorship, groundwork, scorer or umpiring then please get in touch.”
