RHYL AND DISTRICT SUNDAY LEAGUE FIXTURES – SUNDAY, JANUARY 16

LEE JONES CUP

FC Mally v Millbank

The first of back-to-back Sunday matches at Maes Derw, Llandudno Junction, between Mally and Millbank takes place in the Lee Jones Cup tomorrow.
Next Sunday’s game at the same venue will see league points up for grabs.
Returning hero Shaheen Ahmed (Twinny) is set to make his comeback tomorrow for Mally – a team with which he has won three quadruples.
In previous meetings this season, Millbank have beaten Mally 3-2 in the league and the Junction lads got revenge with a 3-0 win over their rivals in the NWCFA Sunday Challenge Cup

Royal Oak v Six Bells

Royal Oak will look to repeat the November 5-1 Challenge Cup home win over Six Bells when they meet their fellow Rhyl side in the Lee Jones tomorrow.
However, Six Bells also have a victory over the Oak this season on their record – 5-2 in the league back in September.

MATTY PEREZ CUP

Conwy Comrades v Rhyl Wanderers

When these two met in the league back in October, Comrades ran out resounding 8-0 winners.
If the Conwy side repeat the sort of display which saw them whip Bar Bow 4-0 last weekend, they will be strongly fancied to win again.

LEAGUE

The Alex v Bar Bow

This rearranged game will see bottom side Alex take on a Bar Bow outfit badly in need of points to revive hopes of a league title challenge.
Bow won 8-0 at The Alex in the Premier Cup quarter-finals back in October.
