League table after matches played Sunday, December 5

Royal Oak v Conwy Comrades

Both these sides have a chance to end 2021 top of the Rhyl and District Sunday Football League.

Comrades will hit the peak with a win or a draw on Sunday, while Oak need a victory to claim the summit.

Consistent marksmen Josh Brown and Matty Rees are two to watch for Mark Dudley’s Oak side, while Jamie Haggas and Joe Carey could prove dangerous in front of goal for the visitors.

The Alex v Rhyl Wanderers

The bottom two meet in this one and on current form Wanderers look like potential winners.

Although still seeking their first win, Wanderers have recorded some close calls including last week’s 2-1 defeat to Six Bells, where they were a bit unlucky.

The Alex have not won since the second weekend of the season, when they emerged victorious 5-2 at FC Mally.
