NORTH WALES COAST WEST LEAGUE DIVISION ONE REPORTS – DECEMBER 4

Bethesda Athletic 3 Bontnewydd 1

Pesda remain second in Division One after seeing off Bontnewydd at Parc Meurig.

Joe Todd’s 24th minute penalty put the home side in front and it remained 1-0 up to half time.

Kyle Hartleb doubled the lead a minute into the second half, and although Osian McGuinness pulled one back for Bont, Osian Hughes made it 3-1 on 63 minutes.

Holyhead Town 0 CPD Llannerchymedd 1

Gwion Thomas scored the only goal a minute into the second half to bank the three points Llannerchymedd needed to stay top of the table.

It was a 13th goal of the season for Medd top-scorer Thomas.

Seven-goal hero Louis Chapman has now netted 33 times in just 18 matches for Caergybi this season.

Chapman, who has hit 26 in the league, was in unstoppable form at Parc Mwd, scoring twice in the first half and adding another five in the second, including a penalty.

Also on target for the away side were George Hibbert, Steve Driedyk and Dave Webb (2).

CPD Mountain Rangers 2 Cemaes Bay 4

Geraint Jones and Matty Reynolds both scored twice as third-place Cemaes took the points at Rhosgadfan.

Dewi Cooke and Jason Taylor responded for the home side.

Llanfairpwll 2 Llanystumdwy 2

Sion Parry’s injury-time penalty rescued a point for Llanystumdwy at Maes Eilian.

Robert Parry gave the visitors an eighth minute lead before Marquis Holland levelled from the spot on 18 with his 13th goal of the campaign.

Jay Finter’s 20th goal of the season then handed Llanfair a 2-1 interval lead.

No further goals arrived before Sion Parry knocked in his 32nd this term via that 91st minute spot-kick.

Bodorgan 0 Llangoed and District 0

Connor Rees missed a 69th minute penalty for Bodorgan, who had to be content with a goal-less draw at home to Llangoed.

Postponed: Bethesda Rovers v CPD Cefni.
