Welshpool Town 4 Corwen 3
Corwen were tied up by “Knotts” in this narrow defeat at Maesydre.
Ryan Knott and Adam Knott netted three of Welshpool’s four goals.
After a goalless first half, Corwen took the lead on the hour through Harry Pooler.
Three minutes later, the Lilywhites were level when Ryan Knott converted a penalty.
James Clewlow put the hosts in front in the 67th minute, then the visitors suffered a big blow on 69 when Will Roberts was sent off.
Ryan Knott put ‘Pool 3-1 up in the 72nd minute, but Scott Evans soon cut the deficit to one.
Adam Knott’s 79th minute net-finder made it 4-2 and six goals in total in less than 20 minutes.
Evans struck again for Corwen on the 90 but that ended the scoring and Welshpool could afford a missed penalty from hat-trick seeking Ryan Knott.

Denbigh Town 8 Brymbo 1
Jacob Barratt plundered a hat-trick as Denbigh bounced back from their first loss of the season by hammering Brymbo 8-1 at Central Park.
The win nudged Town up to second, two points behind leaders Porthmadog with both having played the same amount of games.
Jacob Walker and Sam Tate both added doubles for the dominant hosts, while skipper Mark Roberts was also on target.
Jo Tipping and Josh Phillips were both sent off for the visitors after receiving two yellows. Nicky Chesters scored Brymbo’s consolation goal.
FAW RESERVE LEAGUE NORTH WEST
Holywell Town Reserves 2 Llandudno U-23’s 1
Nathan Williams’ 83rd minute penalty secured all three points for the Wellmen at Halkyn Road.
Sam Edwards gave the hosts a first-half lead, but Morgan Owen equalised on 19 minutes and it remained level until the closing stages.
Porthmadog Reserves 0 Ruthin Town Reserves 3
Ten man Ruthin could afford a sending off and a missed penalty in this 3-0 triumph at Y Traeth.
Joshua Jones broke the deadlock in Town’s favour in first half added time and before the whistle Robbie Williams bagged a second.
Williams failed from the spot for the visitors, who then had Steffan Dolben dismissed in the 84th minute.
However, Joshua Jones made it 3-0 with 89 on the clock.

Cemaes Bay 0 Llanfairpwll 2
Bay’s run of nine straight wins and 13 matches unbeaten came to an abrupt end as Llanfairpwll took the honours at School Lane.
The visitors nudged up to fifth in the table at the expense of the leaders thanks to goals from Luke Owen after 51 minutes and a Marquis Holland penalty deep into injury time.
Cemaes had Joshua Griffiths sent off in the first added minute over the 90.
