DIVISION ONE

Arfon Celts 24-23 Pwllheli Panthers
(7-8; 15-13; 20-19; 24-23)

Celts halted Panthers’ 100 percent record with a thrilling one-goal victory in what must surely rank as the league’s match of the week.

Winners of their first three matches, table-toppers Pwllheli were 8-7 up after the first quarter, but by half time Arfon had turned things around to lead 15-13.

It was even closer at the end of quarter three – Celts leading just 20-19.

And the final session saw the status quo remain, the teams sharing it 4-4 meaning Arfon edged the win by a single goal.

Dyffryn Ladies 35-19 WaliB’s
(4-3; 14-6; 25-14; 35-19)

After a close opening quarter Dyffryn went on to dominate, eventually finishing 16 goals ahead by the final whistle.

Tim o Walis 36-14 Llangefni
(10-3; 19-4; 26-10; 36-14)

A convincing win for Walis although the young Llangefni side rallied well in the third quarter, losing it just 7-6.

It is now three victories from as many starts for Walis.

Arfon Ladies 24-17 Dolgellau
(7-4; 14-7; 18-13; 24-17)

Arfon enjoyed a third win on the trot but they were given a good battle by Dolgellau.

After losing the first two sessions 7-4 and 7-3, Dolgellau hit back to take the third 6-4.

Arfon made sure of the points by winning the last 6-4.

DIVISION TWO

Walis Bryngoch 24-2 Clwb Pêlrwyd y Cymric
(6-0; 14-0; 22-2; 24-2)

Walis made it two wins in a row with a comfortable success over Cymric.

The sessions went 6-0, 8-0, 8-2 and 2-0 in favour of the dominant side.

Porthmadog 16-13 Walis Difas
(5-6; 9-8; 13-11; 16-13)

This was a close one all the way through.

Difas edged the first quarter 6-5, but by the midway stage Port were 9-8 in front and then won the final two sessions narrowly by 4-3 and 3-2.

Bethesda 27-7 WaliC’s
(3-1; 15-3; 22-5; 27-7)

Following a tight and low-scoring first segments, Bethesda went on to boss this encounter, winning the next three quarters 12-2, 7-2 and 5-2.

Pwllheli Wildcats 16-8 Celts Bach
(2-2; 7-5; 12-6; 16-8)

Wildcats lead the Division Two table after making it three consecutive wins by seeing off Celts Bach.

It was far from easy, however, for the Pwllheli side, who had to settle for a 2-2 scoreline after quarter one and were just 7-5 up at half time.

The Wildcats enjoyed more control in the second half, winning the sessions 5-1 and 4-2.
