Sara Furlong is one of Anglesey’s finest footballers.
She was part of the Ynys Môn side which reached the final of the 2019 Inter-Island Games – by far the furthest the women’s team had ever got.
Sara has played for Llangefni, Bangor City and is currently with Amlwch Town, where she is top-scorer this season on four goals.
Versatile Sara can play in any position. She was part of Ynys Môn’s defence in 2019, but also can operate as a forward or midfielder.
She is also a very daring person! Her friends will know exactly what I mean. No challenge is seemingly beyond her.
