Kinmel Bay Reserves 0

Well done Llangoed and District Reserves – a first win at the fourth attempt in the North Wales Coast Reserves Division.

The Anglesey side struck after just two minutes when Joe Doohan headed in a superb Robert Boyes cross.

In the 15th minute the lead was doubled when Boyes headed against the bar and Wayne Thomas put away the rebound.

Half-time: 2-0

After the break Llangoed remained dominant and kept their patience as they sought what would surely be a killer third goal.

It came on 56 minutes when pacey substitute Anthony Williams found space in behind the defence and finished in typical style.

Dion Taylor had a goal ruled out for an alleged foul on the keeper before newly-appointed Reserves captain Liam Roberts made it four with a powerful finish from just inside the box.

Kieron Davies added the fifth, getting on the end of a sublime corner from substitute Luke Rushton-Davis.

Next up for Llangoed is a tough test away to leaders Penmaenmawr Phoenix.
