Manager Andrew is the Pryde of Chirk AAA

Chirk AAA manager Andrew Pryde receives his award from Chas Rowland, general & fixture secretary for the FAW Ardal Northern Leagues

Chirk AAA boss Andrew Pryde has been awarded the Ardal Northern Leagues – North East Manager of the Month for August.

The Colliers won all six league matches during the month, beating Dolgellau AA 4-0, Corwen 5-0, Penycae 6-1, Rhos Aelwyd 4-1, Four Crosses 2-1 and Welshpool Town 4-0.

They made it seven league wins out of seven with a 14-0 drubbing of Kerry last weekend and currently top the table with a maximum 21 points.

During August, Chirk also won 1-0 at Corwen in the FAW Amateur Trophy but suffered their only blip in losing 2-1 at Cefn Albion in the same competition.

Manager Pryde will receive a memento and be sponsored by Ardal Northern League backers LOCK STOCK for the season.
