Mold Alexandra have swept the board with their league awards for September/October.
The Alyn Park outfit has been named Lock Stock Self Storage Ardal North West Club of the Month, Mike Cunningham has won the Manager’s award and Alex striker Danny Warren best player.
Mold went unbeaten throughout September and October.
They kicked off September with a superb 1-1 draw at Denbigh Town, ending the hosts’ 100 percent league record, then triumphed 2-1 at Llangollen Town in the FAW Amateur Trophy before beating Brymbo 6-1 away and Y Felinheli 4-1 at home in the Ardal North West.
October began with a penalties victory over Llandudno Albion in the FAW Trophy, then came awesome league wins against Brickfield Rangers (5-3), Nantlle Vale (4-2) and Saltney Town (5-0)> They also saw off Llanrwst United (3-0) in the League Cup.
So a fantastic couple of months for manager Cunningham, who has led his side into the FAW Trophy quarter-finals, where they visit Pontyclun in February 2022 and up to joint second in the Ardal North West placings.
Striker Warren has been in unstoppable form, having notched 22 goals this term in all competitions.
The 27-year-old netted 13 times across September and October including a run of three successive hat-tricks against Llanrwst, Nantlle Vale and Saltney.
Caersws were named Club of the Month for September and October, while boss Marc Griffiths landed the Manager’s award.
Dale Davies of all-conquering Chirk AAA was selected as Player of the Month.
During the two months, Chirk lost only on penalties to Corwen in the League Cup and remain undefeated and top of the Ardal North East standings.
Davies was a regular marksman over this golden spell and currently has 13 goals for the campaign, combined with a number of magnificent overall performances.
