Bethel 8 Wrexham 3

Five-goal Ffion Wyn Williams was the star of the show as Bethel ran riot against a shellshocked Wrexham.

The points were secure by half time with Williams netting twice, while sisters Mari Gibbard and Gwenno Bolton also made the scoresheet.

The much-feared Rosie Hughes, who had scored 9 goals in her first three games for Wrexham, was replaced just before the interval, apparently feeling unwell.

Lily Jones and Libby McKenzie reduced the deficit to 4-2 with goals on 57 and 72 minutes respectively, but Bethel provided a late flurry of net-busters with Williams adding three more on 82, 89 and then a fifth 17 minutes into added time.

Mari Gibbard also notched her second, while Lily Jones made it a brace on her Wrexham debut.

Connah’s Quay Nomads 2 Llandudno 5

A stunning injury time goal on her return to Llandudno by Kelsey Davies was the icing on the cake for the Seasiders in this emphatic victory at Rhydymwyn.

Jasmin Dutton edged the visitors in front on 10 minutes before goals close to the break from Ella Jones and Maddie Williams put the visitors in command.

Both sides were reduced to 10 players when Annmarie Jones of Nomads and Tudno’s Sioned Phillips were shown red cards for an altercation on 54 minutes.

The Quay were right back in it after Kirstie Kural converted a pair of penalties, but Ella Jones made it 10 goals in three games with 83rd minute strike before Davies delivered the coup de grace with a 25-yard screamer – welcome home!

Pwllheli 2 Airbus UK Broughton 1

Magi Hughes’ double was enough to seal a tight-fought contest in Pwllheli’s favour.

Midfielder Hughes handed the hosts a half-time lead, scoring after 10 minutes, and it remained 1-0 until the 71st minute when Tegan Hewitt equalised.

Pwllheli hit straight back through Hughes’ second and 2-1 is how it stayed, although Hewitt went desperately close to a late leveller.

Lowri Hughes was player of the match for Pwllheli in what was a great contest.

The victory should have been more emphatic for the home side, who hit the bar and post, as well as finding the Wingmakers keeper Ceri Evans in fine form.

NORTH WALES WOMEN’S LEAGUE

Bangor 1876 3 Welshpool Town 0

Leaders 1876 made it three wins on the bounce with a 3-0 success over battling newcomers Welshpool.

Ceri Lois Thomas netted twice in the first half for the hosts and captain Danielle Barnfield completed the scoring after the break.

Amlwch Town 1 NFA 3

Amlwch’s promising start to the campaign was ground to a halt by an impressive visiting side.

The Rhyl-based travellers had much the better of the first half, Sade Benjamin and Amy Webster putting them two-up.

Town were much improved in the second half and cut the arrears when birthday girl Emma Roberts finished well after latching onto a Cerys Gadd free kick into the box.

The game was now in the balance, but NFA settled it when Molly Brown made it 3-1 two minutes from time.

Llangefni Town 0 Northop Hall 4

Emily Hughes was on the mark twice for a Northop Hall side which will be delighted at the final scoreline achieved on Anglesey against a promising Llangefni outfit.

Holly Mayers and Sienna Strapp also found the net for the visitors.
