Mally got off to a flyer with an eight-goal victory in the North Wales Coast Challenge Cup.
A great header by Kacper Spirydowicz opened the scoring, quickly followed by a goal from Thomas Prince.
Kyle Robb added two more before Jamie Moorhouse made it 5-0 at half time.
The introduction of Benn Lundstram at half time caused more problems for the opposition. The son of former Mally goal machine Mike added two goals before Peter Jones rounded off the scoring in a great team performance.
Man of the match was Mally’s Francesco Gallina
Winning manager Andy Colville said: “It was a great performance by the lads even with players missing. We turned on the style to progress to the next round of the cup.”
Conwy Valley-based debutant Callum Parry transferred his Saturday football form into Sunday with a four-goal blast on his first appearance for the Comrades.
Super sub Skye Shields also grabbed a double for the resounding winners.
Sean McIlvogue, Ryan McIlvogue, Kai Davies, James Cory and Jack Kearney added a goal apiece for the victors.
The only league game of the opening day saw Bow triumph over the Oak.
Harrison Bellis (2), John Atherton and James Hill shared the goals for the winners. Barry Roach and Aaron Dodwell provided one assist each, Macauley Taylor with the other two.
Oak’s marksmen were Tom Jones and Paul Campion, Charley Thorley with both assists.
