ST HELENS TOWN (2) 74-10 COLWYN BAY (25) 225-5 DEC

Ross Hudson dazzled with an unbeaten 87 as Colwyn Bay delivered a crushing victory on their travels.

Put into bat at Ruskin Drive, the Bay chalked up 225-5 declared off 51 overs, having been 25-3 at one stage.

Number six bat Hudson’s 87 not out came off 92 balls and included 11 fours. He put on 96 for the fifth wicket with Ryan Westwell, who made a fine 62. Wicket-keeper Luke Russell earlier posted 39.

Bay’s bowlers then truly clicked as St Helens were blown away for 74, Paul Jenkins 3-25, Adam Campion 2-1 and Ryan Holtby 2-27.

RAINFORD (23) 164-10 NORTHOP HALL (7) 135-10
