Opening fixtures for the North Wales Women’s Football League released

Action in the 2021-22 North Wales Women’s Football League gets underway on September 5.
The first few sets of fixtures have been released and the highlight of the opening day could be CPDM Bangor 1876’s visit to Rhyl to face NFA.
Newly-formed Bangor 1876 have built up a formidable squad over the summer, while NFA will be looking to get off to a flyer, having had such a promising 2019-20 debut season.
This season sees the league return to its traditional one-division format.
Unfortunately, one team will be without a match every Sunday due to membership being reduced to 11 after the recent withdrawal of Corwen.
