Steve Roberts was on the mark for Chirk Town



Unbeaten Chirk Town are six points clear at the Premier summit following a 3-1 win over Castell Alun Colts.

Defender Steve Roberts, Jamie Williams and Aaron Davies netted for the Tavs, Richard Hamer replying.

Second-place New Brighton Villa also remain undefeated following a 2-1 success at Coedpoeth United.

Lewis Jones and Scott Davies were on target for the visitors, Nicholas McCormick responding.

Sam Jones hit four for Halkyn and Flint Mountain in a 10-1 romp at Brymbo Victoria.

Mark Foster, Phil Lloyd (2), Lee Messham and Leon Pickford (2) provided the rest, Gary Evans with a home consolation.

Lewis George netted five for Cefn Mawr Rangers in an 8-0 drubbing of Lex XI, Ben Duffy adding the other three.

FC Queen’s Park edged a 4-3 verdict over Mynydd Isa Spartans.

Barry Torrence (2, 1 pen), Daniel McGinnis and Callum Williams shared the home tally, Tom Mitchell (2) and Sam Riley running the Spartans close.

Aaron Boyle (pen) and Dean Hyland earned Greenfield a narrow 2-1 decision against Llangollen Town, Jamie Roberts hitting back.

Hawarden Rangers took the spoils 5-0 at Overton Recreational, goalscorers Joshua Rimmer (2), George Thomas, Jack Williams and Ryan Tierney doing the damage, while Ryan Dunn also missed a penalty for the visitors.


Undefeated table-toppers Sychdyn saw off FC United of Wrexham 6-2.

Keiye Williams notched a hat-trick for the leaders, Brandon Jones a double and Iwan Nevitt a single, Callum Parry with both for the away side.

Ruabon Rovers edged a 3-2 outcome at AFC Bagillt, coming back from two-down. Ryan Williams, Chris Bennion and Peter Jackson found the net for the travellers after Niall Roberts and Jake Murphy had seemingly put the hosts in control.

Borras Park Albion outscored Railway Rovers 5-3, Stephen Berry, Lewis Evans (2), Jordan Davies and Eddie Gallagher with the home goals. Evans also missed a penalty which denied him a hat-trick. Jordan Valentine (2) and Ryan Lancelotte kept Railway in the contest.

Joel Buchanan (2) and Sam Morris booked Penyffordd Lions a 3-0 triumph at an impressive Brymbo Lodge team.

John Coady and Jake Leonard both delivered doubles as Connah’s Quay Town whipped Johnstown YFC 7-2. Tommy Leonard, Carl Wright and Alex Peters grabbed the rest for the Deesiders, Adam Artell and Dewi Reeves ensuring the visitors got on the scoreboard.


Owen McKee bagged a treble in Ruthin Town Colts’ 4-1 victory at Castell Alun Colts.

Gruffudd McKee was also on the mark for the visitors, Charlie Hayes replying with a penalty.

Adam Woosey, Jay Wiles, Joe Robins, Harvey McGrail and Henri Jones notched one apiece in a 5-1 success for Mynydd Isa Spartans at Cefn Mawr Rangers, Ryan Taylor with the sole response for the hosts.

It finished 1-1 between FC Queen’s Park and Llay Welfare Colts. William Mullock put Llay in front on 61 minutes, but Daniel Roberts levelled after 83.

Luis Rowland (3), Stephen Wilson and David Salisbury (pen) ensured Hawarden Rangers pipped Llangollen Town 5-4, away hitmen Joseph Morris (3) and Dyfan Thomas making it a close battle.
