He is married with two children and the family live in Rhostryfan, Caernarfon.

Club interim chairman Adrian Jones said: “We’re delighted to welcome Martin to Amlwch and look forward to him taking charge of our ladies team. We have a number of pre-season friendlies coming up and this will give him a chance to get to know the girls and start working with them.”

Martin Jones said: “I’m really looking forward to getting back into football with Amlwch. It’s a new squad and I hope that after a few training sessions and a number of challenging friendlies, we can look forward to the new season ahead with confidence.”

Amlwch’s first pre-season friendly is at home to Llangefni Town on Wednesday night, 6.45 pm kick-off.
