Super strike force Callum Davidson and Dean Redmond combined to return Menai Bridge to winning ways tonight.
Aaron Rowlands’ side made it two wins out of three in the tier 4 North Wales Coast West Premier Division with a 3-0 success over visitors Llanrug.
Davidson was the provider for Redmond’s opener in the 18th minute.
Three minutes later the lead was doubled when Sion Hogan’s assist helped Davidson find the net.
And just before half time, Paul Rowlands helped Davidson add his second and the Tigers’ third.
The only disappointment on the night was Davidson missing a late penalty which would have brought him a hat-trick.
Winning manager Rowlands said: “We were very good in the first half and worked hard in the second for the clean sheet.
“Sion Hogan was man of the match, and Sam Faulkner and Tom Parry both had good games in their first starts of the season.
“Special mention for Harry Jones stepping in goal tonight – he was superb as well.”
