North East Wales League Championship round-up – tier 5

Jordan Valentine made it 17 goals in three games after netting four in early North East Wales Championship pace-setters Railway Rovers’ 7-2 thrashing of Brymbo Lodge.

Joao Da Silva also notched three for the leaders, Harrison Davies, with a stunning free kick, and Harvey Jones replying for Lodge.

Bellevue were so close to a first win of the season, but conceded two late goals and had to be content with a 3-3 draw against FC United of Wrexham.

Adam Morgan, Brandon Griffiths and Jordan Wright seemed to have put the hosts in prime position, but goals in the 80th and 90th minutes from Aston Jones, who completed a hat-trick, salvaged a point for FCUW.

Johnstown YFC took the spoils 3-2 at Borras Park AlbionRobert Reynolds and Matthew Durban (2) sealing the points for the visitors, Eddie Gallagher and Jac Brimfield responding.

CPD Sychdyn and AFC Bagillt shared a 2-2 draw at Wat’s Dyke Way.

Brandon Jones and Kieran Jones netted for the home side, Brandon Adamson with both for Bagillt.

In the Reserve Division, Jay Wiles struck twice as Mynydd Isa Spartans Reserves celebrated a 2-0 outcome at Coedpoeth United Reserves.

Owen McKee (2) and Robert Jones combined to earn Ruthin Town Development a 3-2 triumph over Cefn Mawr Rangers ReservesLiam Watson and Matthew Jones replying.
