Llanfairfechan Town Ladies football team are returning to action

Llanfairfechan Town Ladies celebrate retrieving their ball from the nearby duck pond at a recent training session (no mean feat). Also, check out the beautiful rainbow in the sky

Llanfairfechan Town Ladies football team are back in action next week.

After an 18-month lay off, due mainly to Covid-19, the team has lined-up two friendlies – both taking place at their home ground The Rec.

On Monday, July 19, Llanfairfechan are home to Eglwysbach Queen Bees, kick-off 6.30 pm.

And on Thursday, July 22, Llanfair host Llysfaen Lionesses, also 6.30 pm start.

Llanfairfechan will recognise both oppositions well, as they all competed together in the North Wales Women’s Recreational League in 2019-20.

Training has been impressive among the Llanfair girls over the past few weeks. They are now raring to go in a match situation.

The team would appreciate some support for their two home matches next week, attendance subject to Covid guidelines.
