Colwyn Bay Football Club’s new women’s team are looking for friendlies.
They are available on: August 1st, 15th, 22nd and 29th (all Sundays).
Manager Louisha Doran said: “We’re open to facing any teams, preferably teams in Tier 2, but just want a run out for the girls. KO times are negotiable to suit both teams and we’ll play home or away.”
Bay’s application to join the eight-team Tier 2 North this summer was turned down, despite them being previously given a provisional licence.
It means they will now compete in the North Wales League in 2021-22, the format of which is expected to be decided at its AGM this week.
Louisha is a former Wales Under-17 international who has vast playing experience, having in the past been with Everton and Llandudno, when they were in the Welsh Premier League. She can play in any position.
Lou is also set to make the step up to begin her A Licence coaching qualification.
Due to uncertainty over what league Colwyn Bay will play in this season, Louisha is yet to determine her full playing squad,, but a number of top players from the North Wales area are known to have been training with the Seagulls.
