Reports round-up

Menai Bridge Tigers 4 CPD Cefni 1

Two goals from ex-Caernarfon Town star Danny Brookwell helped Menai Bridge Tigers to a 4-1 victory over CPD Cefni.

Brookwell, who left the Cymru Premier Canaries earlier this season, has been training with the Tigers for a few weeks building up his fitness for the 2021-22 campaign.

The flying winger has not signed for the club, or committed to anyone else.

Tier 5 side Cefni took the lead through Nathan Lewis, Kelvin Frazer levelled from a free kick just before the break, then assists from Sion Hogan and Dean Redmond set up Brookwell for his quick brace.

Phil Williams was involved before Redmond notched his customary goal before the end.

Caergybi 5 Glantraeth 2

Craig Moore and Louis Chapman scored two apiece for Caergybi in an impressive performance against Glantraeth.

The Holyhead hosts got off to a great start, Mike Edwards firing a lovely free kick from 25 yards into the top corner.

Glan equalised with a great strike from the edge of the box before Caergybi regained the lead with a penalty from Moore.

The visitors squared it again to make it 2-2 half time.

After the interval a Chapman spot-kick restored the home lead. Moore struck again before Chapman completed the scoring with a composed finish.

Connor Rees provided a consolation goal for Bodorgan in a narrow derby defeat at Aberffraw.

CPD Y Rhyl 1879 11 Rhuddlan Town 2

Double figures were reached for the home side in a ruthless performance at Belle Vue.

Two goals apiece from Macauley Taylor and Eamon Buhalfaia put the hosts 4-1 up inside the opening quarter, Rhuddlan replying with a 25-yard screamer.

Taylor completed his hat-trick, Carl Lamb pocketed a pair and Elliot Evans made it 8-1 by half time.

In the second half Taylor grabbed his fourth, while Chris Bennett and Ryan Hassett added singles, Town hitting back with a scant consolation.

Shaun Jenkins, Justin Williams, Casey Gregg and Dan Owen were on target for Bodedern, Anthony Williams replying for Llangoed.

Like all teams, Boded need more games to find a rhythm, but manager Ricky Williams was happy to see his team back on home ground and scoring four goals.

Rhys Owen saved a penalty for the visitors and there were excellent debuts from 16-year-olds Connor O Neill, Harry Gregson and Deio Roberts.
