Goals from Jac Thomas and Dewi Thomas earned Amlwch victory at Maes Meurig on Wednesday evening.
Dion Owen replied for Gwalchmai.
It was an evenly-contested match both sides could take positives from. Amlwch made it two pre-season wins following their recent 5-3 success against Llandudno Amateurs.
Gwalchmai will welcome Nantlle Vale to Maes Meurig on June 5.

Three of Anglesey’s greatest marksmen of recent seasons – Asa Thomas, Gary-Jo Owen and Barry Haigh – ensured
Trearddur edged a narrow victory over Llanfairpwll on Tuesday.
All three players were on target as the Bulls embarked on a fresh era under new manager Mike Davies.

Archie Jones banged in a hat-trick for Wayne Jones’ Development side in a dominant performance.
Connor Gore added a double and there were singles from Shay Hammans and Steve Gilmour – a 25 yard free kick.
Two trialists also shared five goals between them.

A courageous performance from Mochdre Sports saw them battle back from 3-1 down to win the match.
Chris Lloyd, man of the match Bobby Tudor, Scott Brown and Josh Grimshaw struck for Sports.

Dave Roberts was recently announced as first team manager at tier 4 North East Wales League Premier Division club Hawarden Rangers.
Roberts joins the club after a short spell as boss of Brymbo.
Best known as ‘Chips’ within the football community, he previously served as a Hawarded player for a number of years before moving into management.
“I’m absolutely delighted to be here at Hawarden Rangers,” said Roberts.
“Being an ex player here it was always an ambition to come back one day as a manager and I’m very happy I’ve got that chance to do that.
“It was not a difficult decision to come here. It’s a very professional and well run club with very good people at the forefront of that which is an environment I’m very much looking forward to being involved in again.”
Dave’s coaching team will include Pete Morris and Paul Hughes.
Hawarden were Welsh National League Division One champions in 2019-20.
