Macauley Taylor’s 55th minute goal ensured 1879 made it two pre-season wins in as many games at Airbus on Tuesday evening.
A great tackle from Elliot Evans set up Taylor to fire past the keeper and secure the win.
After the match, 1879 manager Gareth Thomas said: “An excellent workout for the 16 players used as we move onto Saturday and our first home game against Rhuddlan Town.”
1879 had kicked off their pre-season campaign last Tuesday (May 18) with a 4-3 win over Connah’s Quay Nomads Scholars.
