Llangoed have revealed they will be entering a second team into the North Wales Coast Reserves League for the 2021/22 campaign.
The side will be predominantly aimed at giving young players that stepping stone up to the senior game, but will also provide those who are in and out of the first team for various reasons the opportunity to play too.
With so many great players of all ages on the books, the Llangoed FC committee feels it makes sense to go forward with introducing a reserves side once more – having last had one playing in the Anglesey League during the 2017/18 season.
Former Llandegfan manager Arron Evans and his assistant Alex Clarke will be taking charge of Llangoed Reserves for the new season.
Llandegfan recently folded after revealing it would struggle to meet the new criteria demands of playing in Tier 5 laid down by the FAW and NWCFA.
Llangefni have welcome their latest signing – Dennis Lawn.
General manager Peter Davies is pictured with a fresh faced Dennis ready to get the green grass of Cae Bob Parry ready for the new season.
With pre-season training kicking off and friendlies in the pipeline Llangefni Town Reserves’ new managers Sion Jones and his assistant Mike Williams are relishing the opportunity of leading the team.
Sion joins from Porthmadog Reserves and Mike from Mynydd Tigers. Their appointment was revealed earlier this month.
