Three North Wales football clubs have won their appeals against the FAW’s refusal to grant them a Tier 3 licence for the 2021-22 season.

Blaenau Ffestiniog Amateurs, Hawarden Rangers and Pwllheli were initially turned down by the independent Tier 3 First Instance Body on 11 May 2021 and submitted their appeals in accordance with the FAW Tier 3 Licensing Regulations.

The FAW Tier 3 Appeals Body met remotely today to consider five appeals. An FAW Tier 3 Licence is mandatory to participate in Tier 3 of the FAW Pyramid for the 2021/2022 season.

Blaenau Ffestiniog Amateurs, Hawarden Rangers and Pwllheli, as well as Machynlleth and Pencoed BGC, were all successful.
