These promising young players have come a long way in 5 years

Many of these highly promising players have gone on to perform well as seniors.
This photograph from May 21, 2016, shows Caernarfon Town Under-14’s following their North Wales Girls League play-off final at Llandudno.
Pictured with the team is coach Ben Bolton, who looked after Caernarfon U-12’s and U-14’s before moving on to Bethel, where many of the under-14’s in the photo also ended up.
In the picture – back row, left to right: Jody Cain, Sophie Evans, Erin Allen, Nel Jones, Jess Lane, Beca Dafydd Williams, Llio Henshaw, Kasey Allsup.
Front row (left to right): Erin Maloney, Catrin Evans, Katie Houghton, Sara Griffiths, Anest Hâf Roberts, Erin Evans.
Jody, Erin Allen, Beca, Llio, Erin Maloney, Catrin, Jess, Katie and Anest progressed to the Bethel U-16 side which lifted the North Wales Coast Cup and all have since represented the seniors, winning the joint North Wales Women’s League Division One championship in 2018-19.
Catrin played for Amlwch in 2019-20 and netted 14 goals as the Anglesey team lifted the North Wales League Division Two title. She also scored for Ynys Môn in a 2-1 loss to Isle of Man in the 2019 Inter-Island Games final.
When it comes to spotting her in a photo Catrin always fools me. 😂😂😂 To me she looks different in every picture, but one thing never changes – her sublime skills.
Ex-Bethel player Jess had a spell with Mountain Rangers, but never really got going due to injuries. Rangers’ ladies team has now folded and Jess has signed for the new Llangefni Town side.
