Catrin Ellen Jones is a member of the Trearddur Bay Bulls ladies football squad which formed in 2019.
The team played in the North Wales Recreational League in its first season and hopes to progress to a higher level in future.
Today is a special day for Catrin, from Bodedern, Ynys Môn, as it is her 24th birthday.
So to mark the occasion, we invited her to do a fun Female Focus.

Haven’t played since school but i always used to play for Bodedern as a child
I returned to football when Trearddur Bay Bulls Ladies was formed in 2019.
I joined this team as I thought it was such a nice idea seeing more and more female football teams being created as there aren’t many teams locally. It’s a great way of getting out and socializing with other girls who enjoy the same sport too.
I normally play left-back or centre-back
Can’t really think of a special memory off the top of my head as it’s been so long and we’ve not really had the chance to play many games, but I was Manager’s Player last season.

Telling others what to do
Black belt karate a few years ago (don’t do it anymore)
My twin brother John plays football and has also played for Trearddur Bay Bulls in the past. We were team members at Boded as children.
Hopefully get stuck into more games this season so we can improve as a team and hopefully progress further.
Haven’t really done much travelling😂
