Catrin Ellen Jones is a member of the Trearddur Bay Bulls ladies football squad which formed in 2019.

The team played in the North Wales Recreational League in its first season and hopes to progress to a higher level in future.

Today is a special day for Catrin, from Bodedern, Ynys Môn, as it is her 24th birthday.

So to mark the occasion, we invited her to do a fun Female Focus.

Haven’t played since school but i always used to play for Bodedern as a child

When did you return to football and why did you do so?

I returned to football when Trearddur Bay Bulls Ladies was formed in 2019.

I joined this team as I thought it was such a nice idea seeing more and more female football teams being created as there aren’t many teams locally. It’s a great way of getting out and socializing with other girls who enjoy the same sport too.
