Trearddur Bay Bulls Ladies played their first friendly of the pre-season on Thursday evening when they welcomed Queen Bees Eglwysbach to Anglesey.
The teams had to play seven-a-side due to Eglwysbach players’ work commitments, but Trearddur took the opportunity to give a few new faces a run out.
The game finished 1-0 to the Queen Bees, who like the Bay played in the North Wales Ladies Recreational League last season. Hannah Jones scored the only goal.
Bulls made a bagful of chances, but it proved difficult to beat the away keeper in the small goals.
Nonetheless, a good workout for Bay with plenty of positives.
Trearddur look forward to a return match at Eglwysbach at a future date.
