Michael Wilde became just the fourth member of the Cymru Premier’s 200-goals club when he netted for Connah’s Quay Nomads in Saturday’s 2-0 win at home to Haverfordwest County.
The 37-year-old made it 12 league goals for the season with a close range finish which sealed victory for champions Nomads, who are now six points clear at the summit.
Wilde has won the Cymru Premier Golden Boot once – back in 2012/13 when he pocketed 25 goals for The New Saints.
He has played for just two top flight clubs – TNS (153 goals) and Nomads (47).
All-time Welsh Premier goal king whose total of 47 for Bangor City in 2001/02 has never been matched.
Was Welsh Premier Player of the Season 2001-02 and also had spells in the Football League with Stockport County, York City and Halifax Town.
Claimed WPL Golden Boot in 2001-02 and 2004-05.
