Seren in her younger days

Best goal scored

A great team goal in a cup final against Penrhyn Bay. Started from Rachel at the back into Amelia Evans then out wide to Ffion Evans, who crossed it in and I put it away with my right foot.

Strengths to your game

Injury prone and left foot

Best team-mate played alongside

Too many to choose from, Rachel Roberts a rock at the back, Lucie White fearless, Ffion Evans like lightning and was looking forward to playing with Alaw Davies-Smith but only lasted just over half a match and got injured🤕

Seren (left) in action against Amlwch Town’s Laura Pritchard-Eynon

Hardest opponent faced

Elen of Penrhyn Bay, used to hate playing against her as she was such a good defender. I could never get past and always complained to my mum and dad about her!

Biggest influence in football

My family

Funniest team-mate

Rachel Roberts, the things she does has me in stitches

Favourite away ground

Only played there once but Man City training ground, the blue pitch, played for North Wales but we won’t mention the score😱

Tell us about your coaching experience

I did my leaders award just after leaving school at the age of 16 as an extra qualification.

Whilst I was doing that qualification I tore my ACL and obviously couldn’t play. About a month later Corwen needed a coach for their U12 girls team so thought I would give it a go to stay involved with the game and haven’t looked back since.

Then I progressed onto the C certificate around November 2019 and gaining that qualification summer time 2020 led me to gain employment at Dragon ADC in Oswestry where I’m with the U9 boys and primary aged girls and still volunteering as a coach for under-12 girls at Corwen.
