November is a month packed with female football birthdays.
Here are the ones I was able to find out about…..
Olivia was part of the newly-formed Holywell FC Ladies and Girls team which competed in North Wales League Division Two last season.
She normally plays as a centre-back.
Really exciting wide player who scored six goals for Llanfair in their North Wales Women’s League Division One 2019-20 title-winning season.
Highly-rated centre midfielder who has been a stand-out player for Airbus in recent times.
Jade was also part of the 2014-15 Prestatyn Girls team which won the FAW Under-16 Girls Welsh Cup and just about every other honour in sight.
Capped all the way up to Wales Under-19 level, her favourite position is centre midfield.
Began playing football ages 6 as part of a Buckley Town boys’ side.
Joined Cardiff City FC Women in the Welsh Premier Women’s League in 2016-17 to boost her chance of gaining a full Wales cap.
Injuries held her back, but she later signed for Cyncoed before joining WPWL champions Swansea City in August 2020.
Currently out with a knee problem.
Left-back who was part of the all-conquering Prestatyn Girls Under-16 squad.
Made a comeback last season for NFA in North Wales Women’s League Division Two and her form steadily improved.
Former Tranmere Rovers and Rhyl striker who joined newly-formed Connah’s Quay Nomads last season and ended up their top-scorer with 16 goals.
Wales Under-15 cap who once scored 10 goals in a match for Prestatyn Under-10s!
Helped Nomads reach the Welsh Cup semi-finals in their debut season, scoring in a sensational 2-1 win over Welsh Premier Port Talbot in the last eight.
Former Wales Under-16 international and 2014-15 U-16 Welsh Cup winner with Prestatyn, Rachel had a great first season for the newly-formed NFA team, where she also coaches.
Last year she further developed her tuition skills on a coaching visit to Chicago.
Rachel can play in any position, is a class act on the ball and is capable of scoring some spectacular goals.
She will be 22 this month, but already has vast experience of playing in the Welsh Premier with Rhyl.
Great attacking playing over the years for Rhyl who recently announced she was making a comeback for the newly-formed CPD Y Rhyl 1879 Ladies.
Really good on the ball, superb hold-up skills and close control, and has always contributed her share of goals.
Six years ago Danielle captained Caernarfon Town Under-16 Girls to a famous quadruple.
A marvellous squad of players lifted the Welsh Cup, North Wales Girls Under-16 League title, the league cup and Darwin Cup.
Dani has since moved on to have plenty of success as a senior too.
She was part of Caernarfon’s 2015-16 Betty Pickering Cup winning-squad, then in 2016-17 scored eight goals as the Cofis landed the North Wales Women’s League title and cup double.
More recently, this busy attacking midfielder turned out for Mountain Rangers.
Twin to Rebecca, Sammy was a midfielder with Llandudno for a number of seasons in the Welsh Premier, but last term was part of the successful new team Connah’s Quay Nomads in North Wales Women’s League Division Two.
Left-back with Llandudno for several seasons in the Welsh Premier Women’s League.
Joined twin sister Sammy at Nomads last season.
Long-serving goalkeeper for a number of years with Llanfair United Ladies in the North Wales Women’s League.
One of the league’s best keepers season-after-season, tremendous shot stopper.
Super-fit veteran who has always been a key member of Rhyl women’s footballing journey.
She played in the Rhyl and Prestatyn side which won the 2013-14 North Wales Women’s League title, then went on to represent the team in each of their Welsh Premier League campaigns.
A hard-working, skilful midfielder, she has also featured for the Rhyl Development and Rhyl FC sides which have competed in the North Wales League.
Former Bethel player who was part of their great Welsh Cup run of 2015-16 when they went down gallantly 4-2 to Cardiff City FC Women in the quarter-finals.
An ex-county netball player and a confirmed admirer of Jess Fishlock, Lisa generally operates on the right wing.
She signed for Mountain Rangers for the 2018-19 season and scored the team’s first-ever goal.
Lisa was second top-scorer for the team last season with seven.
One of the best players on the North Wales scene over recent years.
Was part of two Northop Hall squads which won the North Wales League, scoring freely in the first season especially, and also represented the team in the Welsh Premier.
Last season she added her experience to a Connah’s Quay Nomads squad which finished second in North Wales League Division Two and reached the Welsh Cup semis.
Won the North Wales League Division Two title with Bethesda Athletic in 2018-19.
Last season joined Llanberis where she was employed in a more advanced role.
Formed a good attacking partnership with Ffion Mair Roberts and scored four in a single game.
Another member of the great Prestatyn Town Under-16 squad which won the Welsh Cup – and much more besides – in 2014-15.
Lily went on to score plenty of goals for Prestatyn Ladies in the North Wales Women’s League.
Later had spells with Rhyl and Warrington.
A very versatile player who plays right-wing, right-back, centre-mid and forward, but her favourite position is right-wing.
Not known if she is still playing football.
Hails from New Zealand, where she played football regularly before moving to Wales and representing her first Welsh club – Llanberis – last season.
She did well too, netting four goals for a team which impressed at times in North Wales League Division Two.
Indie has signed for Llandudno this season, alongside former Llanberis player-manager Sioned Phillips.
Grassroots North Wales Young Player of the Season for 2019-20 and named in GNW Team of the Season.
Deservedly so, too. Really came to prominence as a centre-back for an NFA side which really impressed in North Wales Division Two.
Calm on the ball and times her tackles really well, a quality player who can go on to bigger things.
