Probably the 2017 Elias Cup Final. Beat Holyhead Town on penalties, scoring in the shootout and was my last game as player-manager

Biggest highlight of football career so far

Managing Valley alongside Dan Jones (current manager) and not doing a bad job in my opinion considering we didn’t really know what we were doing 😂

Best goal scored

I’d say my first competitive goal for Ogwen Tigers, the ball was played down the left side and I lobbed the goalkeeper from quite far out. One of them that looked good but not expecting to do it again

I think it used to be pace, but as I’m getting older it’s not what it used to be

Ibrahim Fazeel or Jackie Welsh, their footballing brain were different class

Although he’s more of a rugby man, my dad has helped me a lot

Favourite away ground

I like Glantraeth’s pitch, but I played a friendly at Rhyl and that was a lovely surface with the old school stands so probably there

I represented North Wales schools in cross country and as a team we came second in the senior boys category

Personal football ambitions

To play on for as long as possible, maybe go back into management one day

It’s going to be all new as we don’t know much about the opponents in the league , but think we’ll do our best and see what that brings
