Albion had won comfortably 4-1 at Blaenau on January 4, so this was a fantastic turnaround for the Quarrymen who claimed all three points at Maesdu Park via a Meilir Williams goal.

Before kick-off, Albion were fourth-from-top while Blaenau were fourth-from-bottom, and that is how they both ended the day, with the visitors far the more happy.

Greenfield 1 Llandyrnog United 1

One off the bottom and without an away league win all season, Llandyrnog did superbly to grab a point at Greenfield courtesy of a late Tom Kelly equaliser.

Dean Hyland had given the hosts a 46th minute lead, but Dyrny battled their way to a commendable point. Well done Jimmy McNally’s men.

Llanfairfechan Town 5 Bro Cernyw 1

With Bro having won four on the bounce since the turn of the year and Llanfair suffering a dip in form, it was hard to predict which way this one would go.

In the end, it was Andrew Croston’s side who ran out emphatic winners thanks to goals from Sion Devereux (2), Ryan Lewis, Jacob Fraser and Elliott Croston, Sion Jones replying.

Bodorgan 3 Arriva Bangor 3

Hosts Bodorgan produced a brilliant performance to salvage a 3-3 draw against Arriva Bangor at Treborth.

The ‘home’ side (the fixture was switched to 3G) were 2-0 down, got back to 2-2, conceded in the 88th minute, but grabbed an equaliser on 90.

Connor Rees notched all three for Bodorgan, Scott Hughes (2) and Dylan Jones for the Busmen.

Machno United 3 Llanfairfechan Town Reserves 2

On a good day for the underdog, third-bottom Machno defeated third-from-top Llanfairfechan Reserves.

A goal from 47-year-old Ian Hughes, plus further strikes by Harry Kirkham and Kai McDonald-Hughes sealed the win for Machno, who fielded a good mix of youth and vast experience. Jason Owen bagged both for Llanfair.

Despite their lowly position, Machno still have a 100% home record, this latest result making it four wins in a row, although their latest contest actually took place at Llandrillo College 3G.
