Steve Whittaker notched five goals as Cemaes Bay dished out an 11-0 hammering at Llandegfan to establish a five-point lead at the Lucas Oil Anglesey League summit.

Daniel Howes (2), Rhys Lloyd, Andy Williams, Sol Williams and Dafydd Jones added the rest of the goals for the dominant visitors.

It was much closer at Holyhead Town, where neighbours CPD Y Fali ended up 3-2 winners.

Mike Williams, Luke Miles and Barry Roberts all netted for the visitors, Tom Hadley and Ryan Haywood replying.

There was a major shock at Mountain Rangers, where the home side’s 12-match unbeaten run going back to the start of the season was scuppered when Llanfairpwll triumphed 2-1 at Cae Gors.

Kieran Williams and Callum Jones sealed the points for the visitors, Ian Pleming the home marksman.

Rangers are now six points behind leaders Cemaes Bay with two games in hand, but the School Lane outfit have a superior goal difference.

Second-place Holyhead Hotspur Reserves took the points 3-2 at Arriva Bangor.

Daniel Camilleri and Dylan Williams netted for the Busmen, but Hotspur maintained their brilliant away form, scoring through Mitch Jones’ 30-yard special, Tom Scott and Chris Corrie.
